CERTIFIED PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT

Tom earned his Masters degree in Accounting, specializing in Taxation from Florida State University. Before returning to Venice to join the firm, Tom began his career with a public accounting firm in Tallahassee Florida.

Tom is very involved in the community and sits on the board of several organizations. He is currently active in the following roles:

• Venice-Nokomis Rotary Club - Treasurer

• Village on the Isle - Trustee - Finance Committee Chairman

• Big Brothers Big Sisters Venice - Board of Directors

• Rotary Futures - Board of Directors

• Venice Challenger Baseball - Board of Directors

As a former standout high school and college baseball player, Tom looks forward to being an active member of the community’s youth athletic programs.

The son of fellow partner & CPA, Susan Hanks, Tom was born and raised in Venice. While attending Florida State University he met his wife, Brooks, who works in Technology & Security as a Cloud Engineer. Together they enjoy family time raising their young son Hudson.
